This GT-EL84-S Matched Power Tube Duet and Quartet features a new European version with even more response, higher power, and warmer tone. It's the low-power pentode popularized in the early Vox AC30 amps. It was rediscovered by Matchless and now is used by nearly every tube amp company. It has a quick, soft overdrive distortion--great for recording but usually too low volume for live gigs.
